Their acoustic emission systems are used for crash control, gap control, and also for accurately controlling the wheel dressing cycle.  In developing an extensive range of highly sensitive acoustic sensors, Dittel have been able to detect acoustic signals in extremely difficult environments, resulting in shorter, more accurate, more economic and safer grinding cycles.
